From benches in the parks to pews in the church, one sometimes finds the words “donated by so and so.” In times of natural calamities, one can see a philanthropist giving away relief goods to those who have been affected by a typhoon.
A picture of the act of giving is photographed and is on the front pages of newspapers. The photograph is also posted on facebook, becomes viral and earns a million likes. One simply wants others to know that one has done something good for others.
But there are a number of those who help other people yet they remain anonymous. They give but they do not want to be known. Every good deed that we do does not need the approval of the many. It is enough that God knows about it.
