A week after the ravages of the cyclone Idai in the southern African countries of Malawi and Mozambique, Divine Word Missionaries return to their ministry and religious services in their respective communities.
Fr Ralf Montalban SVD joins Fr Phil Pinalgan in bringing the sacrament and the Holy Mass to the ravaged communities. Such commitment to the ministry shows their steadfast faith and unwavering hope that in turn give their communities the need emotional push to rebuild their homes and lives after the storm.
In his Sunday Homily, Fr Phil declared with conviction that “the cyclone Idai only demolished our chapel, Idai cannot destroy our faith” according to Fr Ralp who concelebrated in that Sunday Mass.
