The SVD-run parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Kamuning, Quezon City, Philippines organised a Friday Recollection for the whole of Lent.
The Friday Recollection covers the following activities:
- 5:00 PM – Stations of the Cross
- 5:30 PM – Thematic Reflections & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction
- 7:00 PM – Holy Mass
Each Friday highlights a particular biblical theme to be elaborated by an invited scholar of the Bible.
- March 8, 2019 – Mary, Martha and Lazarus and the Passion of Jesus by Dr Maricel Ibita of the Ateneo de Manila University
- March 15, 2019 – The Passion of Jesus in the Gospel of John by Fr Chris Pine OFM of the St Vincent School of Theology
- March 22, 2019 – The Lamentations by Dr Rico Villanueva of Asian Theological Seminary
- March 29, 2019 – The Passion of Jesus in Paul’s Letters by Sr Nimfa Ebora PDDM of Maryhill School of Theology
- April 5, 2019 – The Passion of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke by Fr Joel Camaya, SDB of Don Bosco House of Studies, CBAP President
- April 12, 2019 – From the Crib to Calvary by Fr Alex Gobrin, CMF of the Institute of Consecrated in Asia
